We have operated as quarry masters since the early 1970's and have been active in both hard rock and sand & gravel workings. During the time of our operations we have worked 6 sand & gravel pits, including, screening, crushing and washing operations and we are currently operating 2 pits with an application to develop a third currently in the process of obtaining planning approval.

Since we started operating sand & gravel pits we have, up to the end of 2000, produced some 4.55 million tonnes in total and are currently producing in the order of 240,000 tonnes.

Our hard rock operations commenced with a single quarry but we are currently operating 3 quarries, with an annual output in the order of 720,000 and have in total produced approximately 7.8 million tonnes to date.

Our newest sand & gravel deposit at Balado, near Kinross opened in the last quarter of 2007 and is now steadily supplying sands and gravels for Fife, Perthshire and Edinburgh and the Lothians.
